Hours & Rules:

The Park is open from 9AM until 5pm from the last Saturday in June to Labor Day.

Use of the grounds is limited to tax paying residents of the Southold Park District only.

For availability and to receive use of grounds forms, please call the Park District Secretary at 631-765-6019.

 The playing of loud music or a live band is prohibited.

Clean up must be handled by applicant and must be completed immediately following the scheduled event.
If left undone, security will be forfeited.

Notice is hereby given to all tax paying property owners within the Southold Park District that Kayak Slips at South Harbor Beach will be available in 2026. Only one application for ONE Kayak will be accepted per household.

The 2026 fee for use of the slips will be $60.00 and the season will run from Sunday May 31st, 2026 through Monday October 12th, 2026. 

The following “letters of intent” must be submitted in writing stating the following information:

•  street address (Southold Park District resident address)
•.  mailing address
•.  telephone number(s)/email

Applicant must also submit a filing fee in the form of a check or money order in the amount of $60.00 made payable to “Southold Park District” which will be applied to the rack fee if the applicant is a lottery winner or will be returned if the applicant is a non-winner.  Filing fees for lottery winners who do not use the winning slips will be retained by the Southold Park District.

            Letters must be postmarked no later than April 20th, 2026 and mailed to:

If the total number of applicants exceeds the number of slips available, all applications will be placed into a lottery where the first drawn will have slip numbers assigned by the Commissioners.

The Kayak Slip lottery will be held on Tuesday, May 12th, 2026 at 7pm at Founders Landing Wharf House.
