WHEREAS, The Board of Commissioners wishes to maintain the properties under its control and responsibility in an orderly, clean and sanitary manner to ensure that the premises are suitable for the public’s continued use; and

WHEREAS, the District’s properties do not have the infrastructure or facilities to accommodate overnight use of the premises;

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Board of Commissioners declares that overnight visits, camping, or use of District properties for overnight accommodation of any type are prohibited.

ANNUAL ELECTION OF THE SOUTHOLD PARK DISTRICT

On April 9, 2024

            NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Annual Election of the Southold Park District will take place on April 9, 2024 between the hours of 6:00 PM and 8:00 PM at the Southold Park District offices located in the Wharf House, 1025 Terry Lane, Southold, NY for the purpose of electing one Commissioner for a three (3) year term commencing April 10, 2024 and ending April 13, 2027.  All persons residing in the District at least 30 days prior to the election and registered to vote with the Suffolk County Board of elections at least 23 days before the election shall be eligible to vote.
